The Heritage International Art Gallery is located in the historical centre of Moscow, just five minutes’ walk from the Kremlin, and has been active on the Russian market for more than six years.
The gallery’s name reflects the goals that were set when it was founded – the main area of its work was to return a forgotten part of Russia’s cultural heritage to the country. This is the art of the Russian Emigration, and particularly the Paris School – art that due to historical events flourished outside the country. One of the biggest projects in this area was a retrospective exhibition of Andre Lanskoy, which effectively served as a first introduction to the artist’s works for Russian audiences.
The gallery is constantly broadening the areas in which it works, and today it also exhibits contemporary Russian and foreign art.
Heritage holds several large-scale exhibitions each year, and regularly holds lectures and master classes for clients. Dinners for collectors are held regularly. .
In 2011, the gallery opened Heritage Interior Art, which deals with decorative and applied arts.
Heritage specialises in working with collectors to create their own private collections. The gallery’s collection includes museum-quality works.
The word “heritage” reflects that part of a country’s material and creative culture brought about by previous generations, which has stood the test of time and been passed on as something valuable and worthy of respect.
The gallery’s mission is to facilitate the creation of high-quality private collections, and to help develop and support collectors.
